In response to the employment needs of enterprises and to expand channels for graduates, the School of Business actively deployed and fully utilized its initiative and proactivity to solidly promote the "Visiting Enterprises, Expanding Employment Opportunities" special action. On March 23rd, Ms. Hui, Guo, the Program Coordinator of the International Finance program, led her students to the RenAi Road Branch of Dongwu Securities in Suzhou to conduct in-depth exchanges with the company on topics such as graduate employment prospects, talent development, and employment needs. This visit was not only an extracurricular practice and training activity for the Financial Market Fundamentals course at our School of Business but also a rare opportunity for in-depth communication between our school and the enterprise.

The head of the enterprise introduced in detail the basic work content of the company and the current working situation of its employees. At the same time, they also taught the international finance students who have not yet stepped out of campus on how to maintain a correct investment mindset and shared their experience in identifying effective information and making appropriate decisions. Yan, Shen, Manager of the Enterprise stated that in the market, “One needs to stick to their own judgment, make rational decisions, and avoid blindly following the trend, and analyze individual stocks based on market trends”.

This visit was also an excellent opportunity for students to integrate theory and practice and connect what they learned in school to actual work. Yu, Guo, student in the 2101 International Finance class, stated that this visit provided us with a real workplace experience, helping us further explore suitable job nature and content, fill in our knowledge gaps with targeted learning, and make appropriate career plans and developments in our future studies and life.

Expanding employment opportunities benefits both the school and enterprises. The School of Business will continue to carry out the "Visiting Enterprises, Expanding Employment Opportunities" special action, building a bridge of communication and service between graduates and employers, deeply understanding the employment needs of enterprises, fully exploring employment resources, promoting supply and demand docking, and laying a solid foundation for our graduates to achieve higher quality employment.
