Suzhou Centennial College  BRAD CHAPMAN
  CFO & VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, CENTENNIAL COLLEGE

  As Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Business Development at Centennial College, Brad is responsible for financial stewardship to support the College’s mission and to help position the College as a leading global provider of learning services. In this role, Brad provides counsel to the President for developing strategic and operational planning to drive institutional resource allocation, fiscal control and profitability to support the learning experiences and needs of the College’s students, faculty, and staff.

  Brad provides senior level leadership and technical expertise in directing all financial operations of the College including accounting practices, financial systems, purchasing, budget development, cost controls, and analysis of financial data. Brad serves as the senior management advisor to the Audit and Risk Management Committee, to help the Board of Governors fulfill its oversight responsibilities respecting financial operations, external audits, risk management, fundraising, partnerships and subsidiaries, Information Technology including cyber security, buildings and lands including co-development opportunities, and legal and regulatory compliance. 

  To serve faculty, staff and students at major campuses and satellite locations, Brad also directs a broad range of services including Business Development via International Education initiatives and Contract Training, campus space planning and facilities design; operation of College buildings, systems, and grounds; Office Services; Ancillary Services (Parking, Bookstores, Food Services); and, Residence operations. 

  Brad has an MBA (Schulich) and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA, CA) and the Financial Executives Institute of Canada. Brad’s extensive private sector career experience has been gained in a number of senior financial management positions in the consumer health care field, automotive and retail sectors. Prior to joining Centennial, Brad served on the College's Board of Governors first as a member, then as Chair of the Board’s Audit and Compliance Committee.
