SCC Research Unit: School of Business

　　School of Business is composed of two specialty groups: Business Management Research Group and Internet Business Research Group. Business Management Group mainly serves the integrated management of enterprises, including Business Accounting, Business Enterprise Management (focus on small and medium enterprises), and Marketing. Internet Business Group includes International Finance, e-Commerce and International Trade, highlighting the characteristics of Internet plus business services. The two specialty groups were established in 2020 with the goal of meeting market demand, promoting teaching efficiency, integrating teaching staffs and creating more integrated business school.

　　1. The Leading Researchers in Business Management Research Group

　　Ms. Vicky LAI

　　Ms. Vicky Lai graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2003 with a Master Degree in Finance. She then obtained the advanced diploma of management accounting of CIMA and Certified Accountant of China in 2010. She has worked in a CPA firm over 5 years, and has gained substantial experiences in Accounting.  Since 2010, Ms. Lai joined our college and worked as a lecturer teaching accounting and taxations. Her previous experience in a CPA firm helped her to teach the knowledge more related to the practical circumstances. Her main interest is in the area of management accounting and taxation.  

　　Ms. Evonne XU

　　Ms. Evonne XU has a prolonged interest in international environment, mainly responsible for Enterprise Management and other business courses in general currently. She has built up rich experience since she worked at Streetdirectory Pte Ltd in Singapore, responsible for marketing related work before joins SCC. She teaches Introduction to Management, Human Resource Management, and Essentials of Economics as well. Ms. Evonne often makes full preparations for her class. She develops curriculum resources by integrating theory with practice. Ms. Evonne believes that a relationship of equality and harmony with students is essential. She has been working on inspiring student’s learning interests and facilitating their academic enthusiasms, completed the research project: Universities' philosophy and social science researches in Jiangsu Province (NO.:2019SJA1421)’; The "blended" model of teaching business administration in higher vocational colleges based on the “education cloud” platform; Jiangsu province platform online course (Principles of Management); Suzhou Social Science Fund Project (Application Countermeasures（Y2020LX122）; Countermeasures of small and medium-sized enterprises in Suzhou under the background of industrial Internet.

　　Ms. TUNG Chu Yui

　　Ms. Tung Chu Yui was graduated from University of Exeter and was awarded a distinction for her master degree in Marketing. Then she served at Marketing-related firms in UK for 2 years. Her sound marketing knowledge was also acquired through traveling, through traveling to different countries she gains inspirations especially in the areas of creative and innovative Marketing and promotional techniques. And her experience of studying as well as working in various countries (Hong Kong, Australia, UK, China) provided her with the conducive multi-cultural exposures and showed her the insights to different business conducts. Ms. Tung’s ultimate goal of working here is to grow with the college, to train the students to become an independent responsible individual that always yarn for a better outcome and seek for new ideas. 

　　2. The Leading Researchers in Internet Business Research Group

　　Ms. Lynn ZHANG, Dean/School of Business

　　Ms. Lynn ZHANG graduated from Columbia University in the City of New York, with a master's degree in international finance. She holds CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) and CFT (Financial Technologist) certificates. Her research interests include financial markets, financial innovation and higher education in finance. In recent years, she has been the leader of various provincial and municipal scientific research projects, including: Excellent backbone specialty construction project of Jiangsu higher vocational Education: International Finance; Jiangsu Province philosophy and social science research project: research on the training mode of higher vocational education in finance in Suzhou regional financial center in the new professionalism era; Key platform project of Suzhou Industrial Park: modern comprehensive financial service education and training platform; Suzhou philosophy and social science research project: feasibility research on securitization of credit assets of SMEs in Suzhou; Suzhou philosophy and social science research project: opportunities and challenges of Suzhou consumer finance development in the post epidemic era. She has taken an active part in the teaching reform and won prizes in the school level and provincial level teaching competitions.

　　Mr. QU Yasen

　　Mr. Qu Yasen, Associate Professor, Engineer, Deputy Dean of Business School, CPC Party Branch Secretary, Coordinator of International Business, Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. After obtaining double master degree in the UK, he joined the electronic products industry and became an assistant purchasing manager in the UK. He has rich working experience in international trade, supply chain management and supplier management. All of these experiences enable him to be a good teacher in helping students to understand the applications of theoretical knowledge in o real business situations. After joining Suzhou Centennial College, he has taught quite a number and variety of subjects of different natures such as International Trade, Logistics, Management and Marketing. In 2012, he participated in “Modern Financial Services-Jiangsu Province Key Professional Group Project”. In 2015, he participated in “The Key Research Projects of Higher Education Reform in Jiangsu Province”. In 2017, he presided over “The Jiangsu Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Fund Project”, which has been completed on time and has an excellent grade. In 2018, he was awarded the title of “Excellent Backbone Young Teacher Candidate of Jiangsu Qinglan Project”. He has published 8 professional papers in provincial and national journals. He has won awards in teaching ability competitions many times, and also led his students to win prizes in municipal and provincial competitions.

　　Ms. DAI Yue

　　Ms. DAI Yue, E-commerce Engineer , 1+x E-Commerce Data Analysis Intermediate Trainer. She has built up rich experience since she worked at Suzhou Irwin import and Export Co., Ltd. She develops curriculum resources by integrating theory with practice and she is the editor in chief of new media marketing and deputy editor in chief of content marketing. She has been focusing on the following research projects：Preside over the project of Modern Educational Technology Research Institute of Jiangsu Academy of Educational Sciences（No.: 2019-R-80094）; "Research on the Design and Development of New Media Marketing Learning Resources Based on Modern Information Technology". Participate in Jiangsu province platform online course (Principles of Management); Preside over school level projects（No.:2019SCCRND08）："exploring the management mode of students in the dual-main school-enterprise cooperative internship project" Guide the innovation and entrepreneurship training program for university students in Jiangsu Province in 2019(No.: 201913962007Y): "agricultural products upstream project based on content and community".

　　Ms. GUO Hui

　　Ms. Guo Hui, associate professor,Director of International Finance. She has been a senior investment consultant in China national securities company for 5 years. She is proficient in securities market investment varieties, trading rules and risk management, and has rich practical experience in financial services and securities investment analysis. Since serving Suzhou Centennial College, she has been engaging in combining the working and teaching experiences to teach students more useful knowledge, through a variety of teaching methods, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students. Ms. Guo Hui has been working hard to improve the teaching quality, study the teaching reform, and successfully complete the teaching tasks. In 2017, she was awarded the title of outstanding young teacher of "Qinglan project" of Jiangsu Provincial Department of education. She has made great efforts to implement innovative teaching and improve teaching methods by means of information technology. She participated in the informatization teaching competition of Jiangsu Higher Vocational Colleges in 2018 and won the first prize.
