On behalf of us all here at Centennial, I would like to extend heartfelt Lunar New Year greetings to you and all your Suzhou Centennial College colleagues.

我谨代表百年理工学院全体同仁，向您以及苏州百年职业学院的各位同事致以诚挚的新春祝福。

It doesn’t need me to tell you that the Lunar New Year is a deeply meaningful occasion – a time rooted in family, tradition, renewal and hope for the year ahead.  A time too, to honour friendship and partnership – which in our case is extremely special.

农历新年意义深远、内涵丰富，无需赘述——这是一个承载着家庭团聚、文化传统、辞旧迎新与对未来美好期许的重要时刻。同时，这也是礼赞友谊与合作伙伴关系的时刻；而对我们双方而言，这份情谊与合作尤显珍贵、意义非凡。

As we welcome the Year of the Horse, symbolizing forward movement, energy, and perseverance, the element of Fire brings adds additional meaning – passion, vitality, and new growth. It makes this year especially meaningful to us – Centennial was founded in a Fire Horse year, 1966. As we approach our 60th anniversary later this year, this shared symbolism feels both timely and fitting.

值此迎来象征奋进、活力与坚韧的马年之际，火元素亦为新岁增添了更深层的寓意——热忱、生命力与蓬勃成长。这使得今年对我们而言尤显意义非凡：百年理工学院创立于1966年的火马年。随着本院将于今年迎来建校六十周年，这一共同的象征既相得益彰，又恰逢其时，更显深远而珍贵的意义。

Forward movement. Endurance. Purpose. That is the spirit of this year – and the spirit of Centennial. These are qualities that define not only the Year of the Horse, but also the enduring partnership between our two institutions. Together, we continue to support our students, deepen collaboration, and build opportunities across borders.

奋进向前，持之以恒，志存高远——这正是今年的精神所在，也是百年理工学院一贯秉持的精神。这些品质不仅诠释了马年的内涵，也体现了我们两校之间历久弥坚的合作关系。展望未来，我们将继续携手支持学生发展，深化双方合作，并在跨越国界的交流与协作中不断拓展新的机遇。

Embracing the momentum of the Year of the Horse, I very much look forward to continuing to move forward together, pursuing our goals with confidence, resolve and an unwavering focus on student success.

顺应马年的昂扬动力，期待与大家继续并肩前行，怀抱信心与决心，专注学生成功，共同开拓新的成果与未来。
