1993年任高级工程师,2006年任研究员和博士生导师。获 “2009年苏州工业园区科技领军人才”和“2010年苏州工业园区金鸡湖双百人才”称号。

研究领域涉及计算机视觉、人脸识别、物联网、智能制造、工业互联网和职业教育创新。近年来,重点研究新一代信息技术与制造业融合应用技术及相关人才培养模式。提出制造运行管理软件生产线体系结构;主持编制10多个智能制造国家标准草案;主导建立工业互联网职业教育人才培养模式、课程体系和实践教学生态系统,主编工业互联网国家或行业规划教材。




PENG ZHENYUN College President, Research Professor

苏州百年职业学院Dr. Peng Zhenyun, with BS, MS and Ph. D degrees of computer science from Tsinghua University, is currently serving as the President of Suzhou Centennial College (SCC).

Being a reputable expert in international Technical & Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and the Industrial Internet technology, Dr. Peng has many academic titles. For example, President of Chinese-foreign Joint College Committee of TVET (CJCC-TVET), Vice Chairman of Chinese-Foreign Collaborative Programs Committee of China Association of Education for International Exchange (CEAIE-CFCPC), Vice Chairman of Vocational Education Programs Committee of the Chinese Association for Non-Government Education (CANGE), the Vice Chairman and the Academic Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of Private Education in China (IEEA-PEC), a member of China’s Think Tank of National Science and Technology, National Teaching Steering Committee for Industrial Internet Vocational Education, Vice Chairman of AI Branch of China Communications Industry Association and the Consultant Committee for Smart Manufacturing of China Light Industry Information Center (CLIIC-CCIM), etc.

As a Senior Engineer, a Research Professor and a PhD Supervisor, he was recognized as Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) Leading Talent of Science and Technology in 2009 and SIP Top-Two-Hundred Jinji Lake Talent in 2010.

Dr. Peng’s research interests are computer vision, face recognition, Internet of Things (IoT), smart manufacturing, the industrial internet and education innovations. In recent years, he has focused on talent cultivation through cross application technologies of smart manufacturing, IoT, industrial internet and software engineering. As the leading expert who was the first to come up with the architecture of software product-line for manufacturing operation management, he has drafted 14 national standards. Also, he has been taking the lead in regard to constructing the knowledge system, curriculum and practical teaching eco-system as well as publishing a series of national-government-planned textbooks for the industrial internet.
